El tercer taller ADAPTA del Centro Climático del Caribe del USDA se celebró en la UPR de Mayagüez y en la finca Alzamora de esa institución académica donde pudieron ver experimentos demostrativos de agroforestería o silvicultura, un tipo de producción agrícola donde se integran árboles frutales o madereros con cultivos de hortalizas y vegetales o con la cría de animales.
