The purpose of this initiative is to educate on the effects of climate change on tropical agriculture and forestry and to discuss adaptation and mitigation strategies applicable to each agricultural industry in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The series includes interviews with professors, researchers, students, and experts on issues of water conservation, soil, pest management, and sustainable agricultural practices.
These podcasts are part of the “From the EEA” program, produced by Prof. Luis E. Méndez and Prof. Mildred Cortés of the Agricultural Experimental Station in Río Piedras and are part of the outreach efforts of the Climate Center from the Caribbean. Please listen and share!
