This event will have a focus on Agriculture, Forests, and Conservation: Integrating Available Practices, Resources, and Tools. Practical information will be provided on mitigation measures, adaptation, and resources available to farmers, agribusinesses, and landowners in support of making strategic and informed decisions in the face of the effects of climate change. This free event will feature collaborators, presentations, and provide climate change focused information aimed at farmers and agricultural audiences.

Second Series of Technical Talks from the Caribbean Climate Hub!

The second series of the Caribbean Climate Hub Tech Talks will discuss new tools available to farmers and landowners. The Hub will have the participation of other agencies such as the National Weather Service in San Juan (NWS SJ) and the Puerto Rico Landslide Hazard Mitigation Office, University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez.

Webinar Series on Climate-Smart Agriculture in the Caribbean

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Caribbean Climate Hub and International Climate Hubs are excited to co-host a 4-part virtual webinar series on climate-smart farming and forestry practices in the Caribbean region. This series aims to raise awareness about the tools and resources available for farmers, ranchers, foresters, and researchers in the region and to encourage sharing of experiences to improve climate resiliency in tropical agriculture and forestry.
